LIGHTHOUSE THERAPEUTICS’ CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION The safety and health of our patients and staff are of utmost importance here at Lighthouse Therapeutics. We continue to monitor the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and assess its potential impact on our facilities. The owners of Lighthouse Therapeutics meet regularly to review the latest recommendations from state and national health officials and continue to update their prevention methods as needed. The following information regarding Lighthouse Therapeutics’ response is based on current recommendations. Due to the rapidly changing situation, the facility’s response is subject to change. Lighthouse Therapeutics will remain open and vigilant in its prevention of the spread of any illness as there has been no recommendation by any government agency that health care facilities should close at this time. Should recommendations from such agencies change, Lighthouse Therapeutics will adjust its prevention protocol and business hours as needed. ***PLEASE NOTE: Temperatures are taken prior to entry and MASKS ARE REQUIRED for the safety of patients and staff!*** PREVENTION Because of the population we serve, many preventative measures were already in place. Those measures include regular cleaning and sanitizing after treatment sessions as well as handwashing, and wiping down touch points throughout the day. Each facility is thoroughly sanitized at the end of each business day. Deep cleaning will be performed at each facility at the end of each week as an extra preventative measure . We continue to remind staff, patients and parents about the importance of washing your hands, covering your cough and staying home if you are sick. Remember, prevention is the primary focus. These steps can assist in preventing the spread of respiratory viruses like the flu and Coronavirus.
Frequently wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.
Cough/sneeze into your sleeve (elbow) or a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as door handles.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Stay home when ill. This includes symptoms such as fever, cough/difficulty breathing and/or intestinal problems. Stay home at least 24 hours after you are fever free.
