Lighthouse's occupational therapy staff engages children in activities that target sensory, motor, behavioral, and cognitive skills. Improved functioning in these areas will help with daily activities, including dressing, feeding, writing, play, and social participation.

Red Flags for Developmental Delays:
  • Not walking by 12-15 months
  • Unable to hold bottle and other toys by 7 months
  • Still using bottle after age 1
  • Unable to play with other children appropriately
  • Such delays persist as the child turns 3 and beyond
