Dr. Deidra Glover Burke, OTD, OTR/L

Dr. Deidra Glover Burke is an experienced occupational therapist and educator with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, a Master’s in Rehabilitation Science, and a Bachelor's in Physical Education. She is pursuing her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Florida Institute of Technology, further expanding her expertise in behavioral interventions. As Operating Partner of Lighthouse Therapeutics, Dr. Burke oversees the occupational therapy department and provides occupational therapy services to patients ages 0-21, helping them develop fine and gross motor skills, daily living skills, sensory processing, and socio-emotional regulation.
Dr. Burke works closely with families, schools, and universities to enhance functional independence in clinical and natural environments. With over 15 years in the field, her experience includes pediatric outpatient clinics, home-based therapy, school-based services, subacute rehabilitation, and ABA therapy for children with autism. Dr. Burke is committed to professional development and mentoring others. She has participated in a medical mission trip to provide therapy services globally, demonstrating her commitment to improving children's lives through therapy and education while helping to ‘light the path to success!’

The speech therapy department is led by Dr. Camisha Williams, an experienced speech-language pathologist with over 25 years in the field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Georgia, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in psychology from Walden University. Her practice focuses on cognitive rehabilitation, special populations in early intervention, and pediatrics. Dr. Williams is licensed in several states and has a doctoral-level professional educator certificate in speech-language therapy. She has worked in diverse settings, including schools, home health, and acute care, and has experience as an online instructor.
Dr. Williams is also a partner in Lighthouse Corporation and Development, LLC, which includes various educational and therapeutic initiatives. Additionally, she serves as an assistant professor at West Coast University and supervises speech pathology students. Dr. Williams is active in professional organizations and community service, including the ASHA, the National Black Association for Speech-Language-Hearing, and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She co-founded the Amari Williams Hope for Healing Hearts Foundation and supports the Beverly Hayes Brown Book Scholarship.

Teresia Hayes serves as the Operations Manager for Lighthouse Corporation and Development, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily management and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. With a solid background in journalism, Ms. Hayes has been an integral part of Lighthouse Therapeutics since its inception, bringing her communication skills and attention to detail to the forefront. In her multifaceted role, Teresia is responsible for managing patient referrals and scheduling appointments for new patients, ensuring that their experience is as seamless and welcoming as possible. She also handles the administration of Babynet, along with its various systems, and coordinates a range of engaging parties and special events that bring the community together at Lighthouse.
Beyond her operational duties, Teresia passionately leads the nonprofit organization, known as the Lighthouse Foundation, where she drives initiatives aimed at giving back to the community. Her dedication to outreach and service reflects her strong commitment to making a positive impact and helping those in need. Through her efforts, Teresia ensures that both the corporate and community-focused missions of Lighthouse are aligned and thrive together.
