Speech-Language Therapy

Speech therapy at Lighthouse strives to give children the tools needed to communicate effectively. We work on language, fluency, articulation, oral motor, pre academic language, and swallowing in a fun filled, sensory stimulating environment aimed at addressing the needs of the "whole child."

Red Flags for Developmental Delays include:

•   No babbling by 9 months.
•   No first words by 15 months.
  
•   No consistent words by 18 months.
  
•   No word combinations by 24 months.
  
•   Slowed or stagnant speech development.
•  Such delays persist as the child turns 3 and beyond
