Speech therapy can assist with executive function skills, expressive/receptive language, feeding/swallowing, fluency, and word retrieval skills. Occupational and physical therapists can address functional daily living skills, functional vision, gait, posture, strength, and endurance. As of January 2025, Lighthouse Therapeutics opened its Behavioral Health Support Services, which offers Counseling and ABA Therapy services for children. We provide counseling services to our patients and families to promote well-rounded, optimal processes for everyone in all environments. ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is beneficial as it assists individuals with autism in learning and developing new skills, aims to reduce challenging behaviors, and helps to improve overall quality of life. We offer an evidence-based approach that focuses on teaching skills and behaviors in a structured and individualized way. Our goal in providing ABA therapy is to help autistic children learn communication, social, academic, and essential life skills like daily living and hygiene.
